the kitchen
The kitchen displays the same tile work as the bathroom and another hint to our history: the working surface is made of travertine marble - the same material used to build the Colosseum and most of the city’s ancient sites and Renaissance palazzi. Logically, here you'll find all common appliances, including a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine with the dryer (a very useful, but a rare appliance in Italian homes). The windows here are made of specially hand-blown glass and they open on a tiny, cozy backyard, giving another view of the rooftops around.
